St Louis,, Streets, People and Scenes

This week we took another trip to St Louis for another try at shooting the streets and people of the Lou
Butch ,Dozer and myself were along for this trip
We quickly found ourselves in the trenches as we found a few tent citys down near the river these people were living in tents and things that resembled large dog houses some places seemed built of old pallets with blue tarps for roofs,,,old abandon buildings full of tents,,I didn't get to many pictures of this but I got pics of plenty of people begging for change and cigs in the city,,most didn't seem to mind a click of my camera in exchange for a smoke or a buck or some spare change
when I got home that night I saw a documentry about Kony 2012,,what a good job they did on this documentary,, is it a money scheme ,,Possibly,,I thought about sending them a small donation for a few mins and I posted a link of the video on my Facebook then went to bed ,,,when I woke I saw on my post that they were saying it was a scam or that only 31% of the money goes to the cause
Here is my thought why not fill my truck with canned food and bottled water and take it to these little tent citys down in St Louis myself,,right here in our own back yard not some far away country its fine time we start taking care of our own,,In the next couple of weeks I'm going to do a small food drive and go back
